“We hosted our wedding and reception at LM Studio in late October 2023 and remain unbelievably appreciative for the entire LM Studio team, particularly Paulette. My wife and I are transplants to the city and found the wedding venue scene throughout the Chicagoland area to be rather disappointing – unfortunate mix of overpriced hotel venues and the many uninspiring and generic industrial loft-type venues. When we happened to find a venue that was interesting to us, we were often met with extremely delayed responses or rude coordinating teams. We were certainly stressed and feeling the pressure to lock down a venue when we reached out to Paulette. Our experience mirrors the overwhelmingly positive reviews already shared by other couples here on the Knot. Paulette and her team were responsive, accommodating, thoughtful, and professional, and many of our vendors thoroughly enjoyed partnering with LM Studio. We were especially appreciative of Paulette’s scheduling flexibility – formal planning meetings and quick “drop in” visits were never an issue. We felt valued as a couple throughout the entirety of our planning process, particularly in regard to some of our proposed adjustments to the venue’s standard layout and aesthetic. LM Studio’s relative value is undeniably differentiated — price, an iconic location, views of Grant Park, and food quality. We wouldn’t have changed any part of our special day – everything came together masterfully. Thank so much, Paulette!

“I can not say enough how wonderful LM Studio was for our wedding in early October 2023. The venue is absolutely amazing, with opportunities for photos in every corner along with beautiful city views. We held both our ceremony and reception there and the transition between the two floors was seamless. Our guests could not help raving about the gorgeous Art Deco/modern decor and how spacious the venue was. It was important to us to find a venue with in-house catering and LM's food did not disappoint. We chose a fish and steak entree for our guests that were huge hits! The staff day of were wonderful, kind, and super attentive. I wish everyone was able to work with a Paulette Eastman for their event planning. She is such a pleasure, has the best demeanor, and her communication with us, our florist and our wedding planner could not be beat! Everything we wanted to see on our wedding day, she worked to make happen. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out! LM Studio and Paulette are true gems. I would 1000% recommend having a wedding or any sort of large event there!”

“Choosing LM Studio for our wedding reception was possibly the best decision we made in our wedding planning. Paulette and her team are incredibly organized, very communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding vision was perfectly executed. The LM Studio space is another thing; the space is so beautiful that as soon as we toured it, our minds were made up immediately. And then there is their food, omg!! “Paulette and the LM crew were a blast to work with. Not only was the food delicious, but the LM catering staff were beyond professional and on top of everything. The venue is also breathtaking. It's a perfect balance of intimate, modern, classic, but it has some artsy flair, art deco vibes, and some hidden wonders--many locations for some glorious photos. The venue itself has a perfect personality--hardly needs anything to elevate the space. It was the perfect blend of Mike and I's personality and perfect location for our wedding. The green room is also basically the size of a studio apartment with a kitchen, lounge, and dining table. Because the venue has two floors, it was the perfect space to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. As a bonus, they have a partnership with a bakery which allows venue, catering, and dessert to be taken care of once booked!”
